GoToVendor.com ("we", "us") operates a marketplace that connects property managers and building owners with commercial service providers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
Account information you provide when registering, such as your name, email address, phone number, and business details. When you submit a service request, we collect the property details and contact preferences you enter. Vendors' credential and insurance documents are collected for verification purposes. We also collect standard technical data such as pages viewed and device information through analytics.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to operate the marketplace: creating your account, displaying listings, matching service requests with eligible vendors, processing membership and lead payments, sending service-related notifications, verifying credentials, and providing support. We do not sell your personal information.
4. How information is shared
Customer contact information and exact property addresses are shared only with the service providers you authorize — never in unpurchased lead alerts. Verification badges show what documents were reviewed without exposing the underlying documents. Vendor contact details appear in public directory listings only for active vendor members. We share information with service providers we rely on to operate the platform (such as payment processing) only as needed to perform their function, and with authorities where required by law.
5. Credential documents
Insurance certificates, licenses, and other credential documents are kept private by default and are visible only to you and our review team. Uploaded documents are stored in private storage and are never published publicly.
6. Data retention and security
We retain your information while your account is active and for as long as needed for legal, accounting, or dispute purposes afterward. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the platform is used, so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
8. Your choices
You may update your profile, notification preferences, and service-area settings at any time from your dashboard. You may request correction or deletion of your personal information by contacting support@gotovendor.com. Deleting your account does not remove information we must retain for legal or accounting reasons.
